The emotion of a wine that, already in the glass, reveals a crystalline and pleasing sound, charms the eye, captivates with its wide olfactory range, and, tasting it, one sip leads to another. It is the most awarded and beloved of the precious Coppi Wines collection, therefore Vanitoso (“vain”) by nature.

Training system: espalier
Vinification: with the attention the grapes are crushed and destemmed, and sent to fermenters for alcoholic fermentation on the skins. In this delicate phase, the wine expresses the substances contained in the skins, such as its fruitiness, polyphenols, and tannins, contributing to the creation of a delightful journey in the glass. Each step takes place at a controlled temperature

Color: purplish red, bright and vivid, which turns to orange nuances with aging
Nose: intense, persistent, fine, of ripe red fruits, quite spicy, ample, will pleasantly enrich over time
Palate: dry, warm, soft, quite tannic, sapid, full-bodied, balanced, intense, persistent, with a subtle and elegant final taste, a pleasantly spicy aftertaste, harmonious, becoming more velvety with aging
Food pairing: spaghetti with spicy Amatriciana sauce, lasagna with ragout
and béchamel, Beijing duck, braised rabbit
Cellaring: long-lived, over 15 years if stored properly
